Well, we were told that there was a war recently, of course we knew and were updated by the US Embassy. But in truth, our lives didn't change. Steve went golfing. Ron and Ramona left Egypt 6 days before the war started and Ann and Harold arrived a few weeks after the war. So all in all life was just life.

Alien: Nancy our first visitor. We put her to work right away, she helped paint that blue wall behind her.

Alien: Ron and Ramona arrive. It's Christmas Egypt style. A suitcase full of muffin tins, shampoo, peanut butter and blankets. I'm sure we hugged them before Chan dug in.

Alien: Ann and Harold arrive and we fly down to Luxor/Aswan for a boat cruise on the Nile and get some temple sightseeing in.
