I put over 9,000 miles on the odometer this summer. Off the plane from Cairo, into the car, off to Canada, back to Minneapolis, back to Canada, back to Rochester, back to the Boundary Waters, repeat. repeat, repeat... I may have been homeless, but I was carrying a loaded tent in the trunk. Plus, I called in some "couch" favors from friends and family. 

I loved the entire experience. It was a great summer, It was great to get back to the - green landscape of the upper mid-west.
